Nathan Brown pleased with second half turnaround

NATHAN Brown had to have words with his team at half time after a lacklustre and sloppy first 40 minutes.
But he was pleased with the way his side turned it around in the second half.
Brown said: "To get the end result was pleasing, but I thought our first half wasn't where it needed to be.
"Our attitude wasn't very good and when you play the good sides, the chances of being behind are high if you perform like that. Fortunately we weren't that far behind at half time.
"It looked to me that we thought we could go out there after a good win and things would happen for us.
"If you don't do the hard things early then you have a good chance of coming unstuck. Hull have shown that when they are on song, they are hard to handle.
"They were far better than us in the first half but we came out and dominated after that."
Jon Wilkin had a fine game, and Alex Walmsley's three stints were impressive up front
Brown added: "The players understood what they did in the first half and knew what they tossed up wasn't good enough. We made it easy for a good side.
"For most of the players, not all, our second half was vastly different. Jon Wilkin had some important touches and as a leader he played well.
"Alex Walmsley was sensational and I thought Kyle Amor's second stint was good too."
