With the resignation of a few teams this season the Management Committee are looking for new clubs for next season as well as looking into the possibility of Veterans Football and Youth Football within the Combination.

In the Combination's Hospital Challenge Cup Holders Newstreet enjoyed a big home win with a 8- 2 victory again Sutton Junction, Andy Simm hit sixon his own with Cotterill and Griny on the score sheet.

Bowling Green had a narrow 3-2 win against Penlake Res. Sankey Vale enjoyed a 5-3 win against Prescot Sun at home.

Sutton Heath had a 3-2 home win against Prescot Sun Reserves with Coy, Powell, Smith getting the important goals.

Wheaty enjoyed a 5-2 home win against Mossbank with Matty Taylor bagging 4 for himself.

In the Premier Division, West Park had a 0-2 win against St Helens Town with Bradshaw and Byrom on the scoresheet, Bold Rangers had a 1-2 away win at York with Chee and Maynard getting the goals.

In the RG Trophies Sponsored Division One, Eccleston Athletic went down 3-6 at home to Clock Face Miners; who had Gavin, Griffin, Shaw all on the score sheet.

Newstreet Reserves had a 4-1 home win against Carborundum with Dearden 2 Howard, Middleton getting the goals.

In ther RG Trophies sponsored Division Two, Clock Face Reserves had a 7-1 home win against Rockware with Moonsey scoring a good hat-trick, Sidac Social had a enjoyable away day by hitting 6 without reply at Waterside, six different scorers will be on the scoresheet, and in the top of the table clash between Sutton Junction Reserves and Prescot Sun A it was honours shared with a 2-2 draw.
