In the R&G Trophies sponsored Division One Eccleston Athletic enjoyed a 4-2 home win against Mere, Liam Bowden getting two goals, Knowsley South and Sutton Junction had a 9 goal thriller at Lord Derby’s, the home side edging out to win 5-4.
Wheaty and Newstreet Reserves shared the spoils with a1-1 draw, In the Tom Worrall Cup Prescot Reserves and Penlake Reserves had a 10 goal humdinger between them with Prescot winning 6-4 after extra time.
In Division Two; Rockware enjoyed their away day with a 1-5 win at Old Congs, Prescot Sun A had a 7-0 home win against Mossbank with Sean Richards hitting a hatrick, Sidac Social enjoyed a 4-0 home win with 4 different scorers getting on the score sheet, Sutton Junction Reserves had a 10-1 home win against Boilermakers.
