WEST Park made the long journey to Worcester for their second encounter with their top class Midlands opponents.
Both sides had their fair number of county and divisional players on view, which only went to show the high standard of women’s rugby at this age group.
West Park started well, they opened the scoring after five minutes with Woosey finishing off good handling and interplay by the team as a whole, to score under the posts.
Converted by Holly Aitcheson, who kicked five conversions during the game.
Further tries in the first half were scored by Sally Stott, Holly Aitchison, Rachael Woosey and Catherine O’Donnell.
Worcester replied with a try of their own, to leave the score at 31-7 to West Park at half time.
In the second half West Park forged further ahead with two further tries by Rachael Woosey, tries by Alishia KS and Holly Aitchison.
The score at this point, Worcester 7 West Park 57.
Worcester, taking advantage of the visitors tiring scored, three tries of their own ion the latter stages of the game converting two.
What is not evident in the score line, is the commitment and physicality of the game from both sides, they deserve credit for the way they performed and skills they displayed.
