THE men from York made Brook fight all the way before three tries in seven second half minutes made the game the visitors.
Blackbrook suffered a blow in the tenth minute went prop Craig Dubois had to helped off injured and replaced by Callum Welsby.
Just minutes after entering the fray Welsby powered over from close range for the opening score with Stephen Parkinson converting.
Chris Springford combined with Danny Fairhurst to send Aaron Hewitt over for an unconverted try in the corner.
Just as it seemed Brook were going in with ten point interval lead they conceded a penalty near their try line on the last tackle.
Following a quickly taken tap Prop Jonny Payne spotted a gap in the defensive line to score with Pollock converting.
Six minutes into the second half Heworth took the lead for the first time Brook failed to deal with a high kick on the last tackle scrum half Danny Simpson picked up the loose ball and fed it out to winger Tom Atkin who scored in the corner with Gary Wilkinson adding a conversion.
Heworth sensed a rare victory and piled on the pressure however Brook’s defence was outstanding keeping the home side at bay.
Great handling kept the ball alive on the last tackle and Danny Fairhurst put in a little grubber kick towards the posts for Welsby to chase and touch down for his second try Parkinson again goaled.
From the re-start Brook surged up field and following a good run from Jack Parker it was Jimmy Brown and Danny Fairhurst that switched the point of the attack and found Tommy Cunningham who was playing his first game after a lengthy injury.
Brook’s fullback finished the move with an unconverted try in the corner.
Brook sealed the two points with their third try in a purple patch. Again it was great handling and the ability to keep the ball alive that allowed Aaron Hewitt to race over to score and kill off the home side’s hopes, Parkinson adding his third conversion.
Callum Welsby was the Tisdalls Man of the Match with Jimmy Brown taking the NL Commercials Players Man of the Match.
