Francis Meli - in fine form
VETERAN Saints wing Francis Meli is on top form at the moment and relishing the attacking opportunities coming his way down the left hand side.
The left hand gang have been Saints’ main weapon of attack again this term, with the former New Zealand test player profiting with some well taken tries.
But as things stand, the 33-year-old powerhouse still plans to ‘go home’ at the end of the year.
Meli said: “I have always said I am going home at the end of the year and at the moment that is where I am at but things might change.
“I won’t know until it comes later in the year.
“I have enjoyed my time here and grateful that I have been at one club for eight seasons. I can’t complain.”
