In the Premier Division; Parr Cons enjoyed a 5-3 win over local rivals Bold Rangers; Rainford N End had a convincing 0-5 away at Penlake. Newstreet also enjoyed the away day with a 0-3 win at York Diamonds also had a away win 0-2 against local rivals Prescot Sun. Clock Face and St Helens Town Res battled a 2-2 draw at Clock Rec.
In the RG Trophies Division One; Bowling just piped Old Congs 2-1 at home; Brown edge Carborundum, Mere, Mossbank shared the goals and a point with 3-3 draws. Wheaty just held out for a 1-0 home win against West Park.
In Division Two Newstreet Reserves hit top spot with a 3-1 home win against Penlake Res with Working Mens and Rockware sharing the spoils with a 1-1 draw.
In the Tom Worrall Cup; Lions Grove had abig 2-7 away win at Prescot Sun Reserves; Pape getting 3 of his team goals.
Two games were lost to the weather; Saturday 23rd March sees a weekend of Divisional Cup Ties at the quarter final stages; will we have a weekend full of shock results.
