 Recs were left to rue spurned chances against a strong Culcheth outfit.

Inconsistent goal kicking and a disallowed try following an adjudged forward pass ultimately proved their downfall.

In an entertaining match, during which the lead changed hands several times, the home side’s tries came from Jono Peers and Dave Flynn (two).

Owen Livesey was the Maguire Electrical MOM, closely followed by Sam Edwards.
