Recs hope to attract big crowd for National Conference opener

PILKINGTON Recs are hoping to attract a bumper crowd to Ruskin Drive for their opening fixture in the Hatton’s National Conference League Division Three.
Recs, North West Men’s League Grand Final winners last season, will face Peterlee Pumas, from the North East, in a 2.30pm kick off.
Billy Dillon, club secretary, said: “There’s a lot of excitement about the step up to the national competition and our volunteers have put in a huge amount of effort behind the scenes in preparation.
“The players are ready to go and we hope to attract plenty of supporters for what is a big day for us.”
