THIS was Brook’s best display of the season to date,beating the second placed Oldham outfit without conceding a point.

Brook opened on five minutes when Jack Parker put loose forward Jamie Mc Cabe through the gap to score a unconverted try.

Brook’s second came as they kept the ball alive on the last tackle for scrum half Jordan Welsby to dive over for a try to which he added the goalpoints.

Centre Arron Hewitt closed the first half with a solo effort as he side stepped his way through the Oldham defence, Welsby added the two pointer. Early in the second half a combination of off loads and slick handling resulted in centre Lee Johnson crossing wide out for a unconverted try.

Brook’s pressure paid off when hooker Jimmy Brown dummied his way over from acting half back with Welsby converting.

Brook were now in full control of the game and prop Neil Briers showed great slight of hand to fool the Oldhamers to stroll over. Welsby added the goal.

Brooks seventh and final try came when outstanding second row Josh Donoghue made a 50 metre break and handed on to Mark Seary in support for the full back to finish off under the posts.Welsby converted.

The Unite Union man of the match went to loose forward Jamie Mc Cabe with Donoghue,Brown,Welsby and Seary all in good form.

Brook are at home again on Saturday against Widnes Tigers, 2pm kick off.
