Recs and Heath in warm-up friendly

PILKINGTON Recs and Thatto Heath will step up their pre-season preparations with a friendly on Saturday (February 9).
The fixture will give new Recs coach Kurt Haggerty a chance to run the rule over his squad ahead of their first fixture in National Conference Division Three in March.
The last occasion Recs met Heath, who are in the NCL Premier Division, was in last year’s St Helens Cup final at Langtree Park. Heathwon 38-30.
The friendly kicks off at 2pm at Ruskin Drive.
The following Saturday (Feb 16), a Recs XIII will travel to Haresfinch for another friendly and on Feb 23 Recs A will face Bamber Bridge at home.
Open age coaches Haggerty and Paul Cresswell (A-team) are still keen to add fresh faces to the squad. Training is on Mondays and Thursday at Ruskin Drive.
