VULCAN FC took on top of the table Moore Utd Reserves and earned a well deserved 4-2 win to go second in the league.
Vulcan took the lead after five minutes when Andy Dove sent a bullet header into the net.
Moore equalised from the restart when Wright was indecisive in Vulcan goal gifting Moore a goal.
Vulcan settled down and played some excellent football and regained the lead on 19 minutes through a Gerard Van Den Hoek goal. Again this was a short lived lead as Moore equalised following defensive mistakes two minutes later.
Vulcan made it 3-2 just on half time with a well taken penalty from Matty Hart.
Vulcan dominated the second half and finally put the game to bed on 86 minutes with a goal from Ryan Tarbuck.
Connor Irving had a brilliant game which earned him both Managers and Players Man of the Match awards.
This was an excellent all round performance.
