Blackbrook have been accepted into Tier Three of The Rugby League and will start their new season in Division Three of the National Conference League alongside local rival Pilkington Recs, Hindley and Wigan St Cuthbert’s.
The division also includes teams from as far afield as Peterlee near Middlesbrough and Coventry.
The Boardmans Lane club will also run a second team who will play in the North West Mens League. Both campaigns are due to kick off on Saturday March 2.
As a result the club are looking to recruit not just players, Brook are also keen to add physio staff, Coaches and committee to their established club.
