JON Wilkin's Ginetta All Stars went down to defeat against the experienced Ty-phoo Legends team at Langtree Park on Sunday.
The celebrity football game was staged in aid of Wilkin's testimonial - and was not without goals or incident.
The legends, featuring ex-Saint Paul Loughlin in goal and scrum half Jonny Lomax up front, won 4-1.
It was no surprise given the wealth of experience in their ranks - Sammy McIlroy, Mike Newell, Andy Ritchie, Mickey Thomas and Mark Wright.
They were up against an All Stars side featuring Corrie stars Alan Halsall (Tyrone) and Sam Aston (Chesney).
Sean Long came on late in the game and made himself busy, although he did take exception to a bad tackle from Radio Five Live's George Riley and responded by giving him a dig.
