BROOK’S winter league side turned in their best performance of the season so far against second placed Parkside.
Brook took the lead when hooker Jimmy Brown dummied his way over from a tap penalty.
Half back Jordan Welsby added the goal then kicked a penaltyto give Brook a 8-0 lead.
In the second half Brook continued to impress with Craig Dubois, Mark Leonard and Andy Rawsthorne preforming well, but against the run of play Golbornes hooker Mikalauskas scored.
A long range effort scrored by Pirri and converted by Bell that gave Golborne a two point cussion.
Brook almost clinched victory when second rower Kieren Edwards touched down, but the referee was unsighted.
Man of the match went Kieren Edwards with Jimmy Brown, Arron Hewitt and Welsby all playing well.
