Pilkington Recs A celebrated being crowned North West Counties Division Four champions on Saturday.

Dave Archer’s young side had already wrapped up the title the previous weekend but they put the gloss on a fine season with a 40-18 victory over local rivals Eccleston Lions.

Brothers Kyran and Andrew Knapper were among the star performers. Experienced skipper, Mike Loughlin, lifted the shield.
