CONOR COADY earned praise after making his Liverpool FC debut against Anzhi Makhachkala in Moscow last night.
The 19-year-old midfielder from Haydock started as a holding midfielder in the Europa League Group A clash, which the Reds lost 1-0.
The ex-Rainford High player and Rainford Rangers played for an hour before being replaced.
Afterwards Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said: “Young Coady made his debut tonight and did very well in that controlling role.”
