I can even fasten my pants!
I do apologise for not updating my blog, however, things have been a little manic .. So here is an update.
I am still really enjoying the training, and can honestly say it’s not a chore at all. Last week I managed to fit exercise in almost every day, and have been really careful on the eating side of things too … until the weekend! Friday came and we had a night out with an Irish band, drank far too much and they had a scrummy buffet on too which did not help. Eating and drinking really do go hand in hand and I was so disappointed with myself as I had been good all week! Saturday morning, I decided to punish myself and put in an extra morning at PB, I had a hangover from hell, but did feel mentally better for doing a bit to repay my naughtiness! And then came Saturday night!!! Well my very clever daughter made the England Squad at Karate again this year, and it’s a tradition that we all go out for a family meal … some things just need to be done, so we did, which was very nice but not ideal when trying to fight the flab. To soften the blow, I didn’t drink which limited the calories a little!
My work is definitely paying off as I have a pair of ‘test pants’ which I know did not fit in any way at the start of my fitness regime, the legs looked like the hulk was about to jump out and the muffin was out of its shell!, I am pleased to say, that today (Wednesday 8th Feb), I am wearing them for work and I even fastened my pants!
