Following the news Triplex club is to shut it seems to me most social clubs are losing money and it is a shame. But, simply, the younger ones don’t want them now.
It’s the same with bowling greens, another dying sport that I used to play. Greens have gone from so many pubs and social clubs across the town. Ten years ago, they all had teams and greens.
