FOLLOWING on from last week’s letter about the Dream and the lack of parking.

There is a small car park by the park opposite but it is not really what should be in place.

It cost vast amounts of money to locate the Dream, and it is visible to motorway and other road users, and this acts as an invite for people not from the area to visit and see what it’s all about.

I personally think it should be made more welcoming to strangers, with decent parking and even a refreshment facility.

We have walked around the Dream area often in the winter and it would be nice after a cold walk to have a nice warm drink.

I understand these things cost money but surely by making such a visible landmark then making it a good welcoming place for people not just from the town but other visitors as well, any money spent at the facility would help to recoup money invested in the area.

It seems such a wasted opportunity.
