AS a regular visitor to St Helens Crematorium I admire the way the ground people keep the large grounds so neat and tidy.

During a recent visit it was disappointing to see a lot of the manicured grass verges destroyed by inconsiderate car drivers.

One of the problems appears to be that cars are allowed on to the grounds despite many occupants being quite capable of walking from the car park.

It is about time things were tightened up.

Only genuinely disabled people or funeral processions should be allowed to drive in.
