I WOULD like to suggest a fantastic opportunity for St Helens Council to make a bucket load of cash weekly.
Just install cameras at the junction of the Rainford Bypass and the East Lancs junction.
Hey presto!
Fine every driver who flies down the outside lane as if they are going to Liverpool, but at the last minute cut across only to turn left to Manchester.
Imagine if it was an instant £1,000 fine.
Oh the possibilities.
