'Government is to blame '
IN response to Sue Charles’ letter in last week’s Star which expressed the opinion that Rainford is neglected by St Helens Council.
You could put Sue in any of the villages in St Helens and the answer wouldn’t be wrong. Be it Sutton, Rainford, Haydock, etc. Every area in the borough can say it’s being neglected.
It’s frustrating but the council has a point. The government does not give a stuff about the North as opposed to the South East, as the recent rail cuts have proven.
