So sad the news that broke,
The eve of mothers day,
Where a child became an angel,
A young girl stolen away.
These careless acts,
Has caused this endless sleep,
Enraged all those who heard,
It made a whole town weep.
The innocence of childhood,
A girl of just four years,
Where lies the justice,
Amid flowers and endless tears.
To all of Violet’s family,
All St Helens feels your pain,
We will shoulder it with you,
For soon shall fall the rain.
But the rain brings a rainbow,
To view high above the land,
And then you’ll see Violet in the sky,
She forms it’s outer band.
Know that we think of you all,
There’s so much love and care,
And although you don’t see us,
I assure you we’re all there.
I send you my condolences,
I’m just a little part,
Of this town that thinks about you now,
With each piece of our heart.
