I AM a local resident who is so sad to see the decline of St Helens town centre.
I spend on average £50 a month in the Range. No more.
I am a hard working genuine person and I was shopping in there for my son’s wedding.
I was in there just less than two hours.
I did not know that, regardless of shopping, if you stayed longer than two hours in the car park there is a fine.
When I received a fine I was angry.
I appealed and failed. Did the private car park owners choose not to believe me?
I am sure there are many frustrated people who do not shop in St Helens because of this.
I won’t again and my close family won’t either. So once again St Helens will lose decent hard working honest people.
Let’s change these parking rules quick.
Sadly my fear is it is already too late.
