'Don't privatise'
IN RESPONSE to the letter ‘abuse of our NHS system’ (September 22), the NHS is already funded by National Insurance and taxation.
If those funds are being mismanaged, it’s the government who should be held accountable and not the general public.
Privatising the NHS is inhumane. Medical costs are the biggest cause of bankruptcy in America.
The welfare state has been decimated by cuts to benefits in recent years with the most vulnerable people in society being impacted-making people pay for health care when they can barely afford food is a disaster.
