ONCE again I have read more letters about dog walkers not cleaning up after their animals. I wholeheartedly agree that owners should be responsible for the removal of their dogs mess as it's a health risk to children. But what about the bigger picture?
Sherdley Park is a disgrace due to youths causing damage and leaving rubbish, empty alcohol bottles and cans all over the place.
What is worse is they are smashing bottles everywhere which is also a health risk to children and dogs as well as the wildlife.
They hang around in an evening under a shelter near the children's play area and don't care what state they leave it in.
I have seen at least 20 youths under it.
Surely they too should pay a hefty fine for what could be a trip to hospital or vets?
On top of this I'm fed up of seeing motorbikes over there but sadly no one is around to deal with either problem.
I know that cut backs in spending will be blamed but something needs to be done on what is an escalating problem
