AFTER I came out of the cinema at 2.45pm, I rang a black cab and waited and rang, and then waited and rang.
I was on my mobility scooter getting wetter with rain and sleet. A taxi pulled up at 3.55pm, useless. I couldn't get my scooter in as he didn't have a full ramp I had asked for.
Again I waited until 4.20pm when the right taxi turned up. I had waited one hour and 35 minutes. I will not use those taxis again.
I am 77 years old and disabled and had no other way to get home, I was in tears.
A lovely young lady came and gave me her umbrella, what a lovely girl. Thank you very much. People call the young, I never have. They are brilliant, especially that lovely young girl.
I did get a half-hearted apology along with a lot of excuses.
