IN response to 'Dogs are ruining the park for my children' (Star, August 27) my dogs love going to this park and I hope that people aren't starting a debate to get dogs banned from it. There are clearly some unwritten rules surrounding this park, you rarely see a dog in the play area part where families should be entertaining their children and not on the field which everyone knows is where the dogs are.

There's plenty of grass by the play area to lie on a picnic blanket.

People need to stop with all this 'dog attack' prejudice and grow up. If you don't want your children to be around dogs then don't take them to a park.
