I LOVE Taylor Park and visiting often with children it is very concerning the amount of people that don't have their dogs on leads.

My baby is five months old and three times a dog came over while I was laying down on a picnic blanket. I got up with our stuff and moved to different part of the park. It is not fair. This person, many others do, let their dog off its leads for exercise and to run about. I love dogs don't have problem with that.

What bothers me is that if your dog attacks someone you are too far away, physically unfit or too old to be chasing after the dog to stop it before it does something to hurt someone.

I regular hear someone saying 'oh it is OK it is a family dog', or 'it is just saying hello'.

I don't care – put a muzzle on your dog if you want it to run around.

Yes the dog will be a bit annoyed having to wear one while its lead is off but it is a lot better than having on your conscience it has hurt some one.

It is getting to the point where I don't want to go to parks with my girls because of it. Please, it is the school holidays and the park is the perfect place to be with kids and pets could dog owners at least try it?
