WHY IS it so difficult to book a taxi. I drive a w.a.v.(wheelchair access vehicle) for my disabled son.
Recently I have had a full knee replacement, which left me unable to drive for six to eight weeks. Needless to say my son needs to get out.
We have phoned umpteen firms. They reply: “Don’t have access vehicle; out of area; driver owns vehicle.”
They are just a few excuses.
It would only be for a mile or two two and maybe three times a week.
