Newton's identity 'was abused'
I WOULD like to echo the feelings expressed by “Newtonian Forever” in a recent Star.
Talk to any native Newtonian and they too will express the feelings that Newton has been abused and our identity taken away by St Helens.
Newton is a town in its own right with its own identity.
Just because it is administered from St Helens it does not mean we wish to be part of it.
