I READ about the plans to develop land surrounding the Dream and I have to say what a fantastic idea it is.
I am a regular user of the area and take my dogs and horses over there. We have also started to use the new cycle/walk/bridle way from the Dream to Rivendell Garden Centre, which is a fantastic walk on a Sunday morning with the family.
It is such a shame that is a massive space and we could make great use of this. We see some dog walkers around when we are over there, but not many. It's such a shame, as we could be doing more things with this space.
The views from the top, the wildlife and just the fresh air is all fantastic.
I own my own horses and have often thought what we could be doing with this space. The other month over there I actually planned out in my own head a riding school and equestrian facilities.
I have often thought of giving lessons to disabled children, if you have the right horses and equestrian facilities. This would bring so much happiness to these children. |I would just loved to be involved with something like this.
I am a full time working mum from Rainhill and do find it hard to make time, but if there is anything I can do to help promote this happening I am willing. My daughter and I spend lots of days over the Dream with picnics and I think lots more people would be doing this if we made it a safe and friendlier environment to visit.
