SO Tony Blair could not resist putting in his two pennyworth about the situation in Iraq...a situation that may never have arisen if he hadn’t interfered and taken us to war with that country.

Is it any wonder top international politicians and public figures want him sacked from his job as Middle East Peace Envoy, because he has done nothing there in some ten years in the job except to set up the UK and the west for ‘terrorist’ attacks for years to come.

And it is not just overseas where he leaves chaos in his wake.

The NHS is in financial crisis mainly because hospitals cannot make the extortionate repayments to the private sector that Tony Blair promised as part of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI).

Then we have the energy crisis and Tony Blair’s obsession with ‘Green Energy’. It’s why we have thousands of cripplingly expensive windmills forming a blot on the landscape and producing just a few sparks of electricity.

And who pays for them....the taxpayer of course, through a ‘green levy’ on every energy bill?

And if that wasn’t enough he did nothing to secure our supply of energy by going nuclear.

So now we have to take our chances in the international gas market, paying whatever the price might be less the far east, Middle East, or Russia cuts us off!

Now we come to the real financial crisis. Tony Blair’s ‘Light Touch’ regulation of the financial sector allowed runaway lending by the banks, directly contributing to the crash of 2008, a crash that we are still suffering from!

It seems that everything Tony Blair and his New Labour have touched has turned to disaster.

He is the very last person we should be listening to on any topic.

So my advice to Tony Blair would be to keep his head down and his mouth shut!
