DETECTIVES want to speak to these two men in connection with the theft of a car worth around £20,000 from a hotel.

The owner, a 43-year-old man from Lowton, had gone to the gym at the Holiday Inn Hotel on Lodge Lane in Haydock when the keys to his grey Audi Quattro Q7 were stolen from his locker.

The theft was reported to the police and an investigation has been launched by St Helens CID.

Detectives believe that following the theft in February, the car was sold in Rochdale to an unsuspecting person from Humberside, several weeks later.

Enquiries have led officers to believe that the two men shown in the CCTV may have information that could be important to the investigation.

They are believed to have been at the Holiday Inn around the time the car was taken.

Anyone who has any information is asked to call Detective Constable John Black on 0151 777 6843 / 6807 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
