IT’S a case of back with the old and in with the new at the Lavender Farm on Rainford bypass.
The farm has new owners and is going back to its historic name of Inglenook Farm.
It has been reopened with a new café and farm shop, with plans over the next 18 months to refurbish the disused barns and improve the paddocks to create a cultural family destination.
The farm shop will sell everything from jams to chutneys, to coffees and cheese – representing the best of what the region has to offer.
More than 400 products sourced direct from small producers throughout the region will be available all year round, with regular tasting days. Craft fairs, farmers’ markets and other events are planned for the new year.
