LMOST 200 youngsters enjoyed a cracking party… to celebrate their own birthday!
The kids are all members of local Beaver Scout groups, which have just notched up their 25th anniversary in St Helens.
At the huge birthday bash at De La Salle High School on Saturday Beavers played games, watched a magician and put away lots of party food.
They had a great time helping Bimbo the Clown perform his magic fun, and shouted with excitement as the tricks unfolded.
Party games were organised by professional DJ Andy Roberts, and included a massive game of pass the cracker.
The Beaver section, for six to eight-year-olds, has gone from strength to strength since it was formed as the newest section of the Scouting family back in 1986.
Across the country there are more than 98,000 Beavers enjoying fun and friends every week, and many of them have also celebrated the past 25 years with parties of their own.
