THE summer may have been a wash out so far, but it won’t dampen the fun at Newton Community Centre’s Summer Playscheme.
It will be held from Tuesday, August 9 to Friday, August 26, aimed at children between five and 13.
There will be a range of visitors, including Hawks R Us, people from St Helens World of Glass will give a glass painting demonstration and the St Helens Ranger Service will show youngsters how to make bug boxes. Firefighters will also pay a visit in a fire engine.
There will be a programme of indoor and outdoor activities from face painting, singing, arts and crafts, football and basketball.
Children must be registered at least a day before their first visit.
Call in the centre for a registration form or download from newtoncommunuitycentre.co.uk.
