AS Dream celebrates its second birthday, one of its leading lights has raised £2,000 for Willowbrook Hospice through a series of talks about the St Helens landmark.
Gary Conley, a former miner at the Sutton Manor site where Dream stands, was instrumental in securing the town as the location for the artwork.
Over the last few months, Gary, who handed over the cash to Willowbrook fundraiser Nicky Saunders, has delivered at least 30 charity talks across the north west about the conception of Dream and its long-term vision.
