FANCY some free compost this weekend?
Neighbours who recycle are being rewarded with a free compost giveaway day this Saturday (May 7).
As a way of thanking people for taking part in the council’s green waste recycling scheme residents will be able to obtain the free compost.
Spades will be provided but people will need to bring their own bags.
You can also pick up replacement/additional recycling containers such as the black box, red bag, blue bag and textile bag.
The great compost giveaway is from 10am at the former Clock Face Colliery in Gorsey Lane, St Helens. Supplies are limited and on a first come, first served basis.
