Is your school looking for ways to help children have a better understanding of how money works and how best to use it?

There has never been a better time to educate young people in understanding how to manage money and become more financially savvy.

We have teamed up with Barclays Money Skills, to bring you Cash for Schools 2011, an initiative aimed at improving the financial capability of children across our area.

Barclays Money Skills are offering schools in our area the chance to win a share of £33,000 across our Cheshire and Merseyside areas, that’s a fantastic £3000, each for our winning schools.

All you need to do is ask your school to register, by calling 01925 426 850 or email using the form on the right, once registered simply collect as many tokens as possible printed from week commencing 16th May to 13th June 2011.

The cash prize will be allocated to the school which collects the most tokens on a pro-rated basis, based on the school size, this ensures that smaller schools have an equal opportunity.
