Fire hits children’s play park

FIRE crews tackled a blaze started in a children’s play park last night.

Emergency services were called to KGV Field near Wood Lane, Prescot.

Rubbish had been placed on top of a climbing frame and set on fire.

The incident happened shortly after 10pm on Sunday, October 14.
