Man stole £3k of diesel

A MAN will be sentenced today after admitting stealing £3,750 worth of diesel.

Gary Curran, 50, of Clarence Street, Newton-le-Willows, pleaded guilty to the theft of more than 3,000 litres of fuel from Wincanton Logistics, St Helens.

He is due to appear at St Helens Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).
