St Helens pupils sent home after burst floods Eccleston Mere primary school

PUPILS were sent home today after a burst water main flooded their school.
Eccleston Mere Primary School has been closed while repairs are carried out.
Two classrooms and the hall have been affected.
The problem has been caused by a burst water pipe and the mains have been turned off to avoid further damage.
The supply cannot be put back on until repairs have been completed and the school may have to remain closed tomorrow morning.
Parents will be kept informed of the latest situation via the text service.
