EuroMillions winner in St Helens still to come forward
12:08pm Wednesday 19th September 2012 in News By Stephen Mather, Senior reporter
SOMEONE in St Helens has a life changing amount of money in their grasp without realising it, as a Euromillions jackpot remains unclaimed.
Luxury holidays, sports cars and designer clothes could be close to being a reality for one lucky person, who bought the ticket on Tuesday, August 21 by matching five numbers and a Lucy Star, netting themselves £ 445,440.80.
The winning numbers were 4, 5, 17, 38, 48 and the Lucky Stars were 3 and 4. A spokesperson from the National Lottery repeated their message: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa; someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! “We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
