Concert will feature voices in harmony
10:00am Saturday 15th September 2012 in News
THE Town Hall is to host another St Helens Live concert on Saturday, September 29.
Members of Rainhill Musical Theatre Company, Liverpool Barbershop Harmony Club and Tick Tock will join forces to present Voices in Harmony.
This concert forms part of the St Helens Live programme, which aims to enrich the town’s cultural diversity through live music, dance and theatre performances.
Councillor Barrie Grunewald, deputy leader and cabinet member for urban regeneration, housing and culture, said: “This concert presents an excellent opportunity to see performing arts groups in one place and will hopefully raise much needed funds for two local charities.”
Tickets cost £5 and £3 concessions and are available from Rosalie Sephton on 0151 292 4458. All proceeds go to the Mayor’s charity, the St Helens Carers Centre and the St Helens branch of Carers UK.
Rainhill Musical Theatre Company can be traced back as far as 1951 and is affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
The group usually produces at least two shows each year and has performed at Rainhill Village Hall since the late 1990s.
