Have a say on future of arts
12:00pm Sunday 16th September 2012 in News
WOULD you like to have your say over the future of arts in St Helens and the chance to help bid for up to £3 million of Art Council funding for the town?
Then go along to St Helens Central Library, Victoria Square, on Tuesday, September 18, between 6pm and 8pm.
St Helens Council’s Arts Service, in partnership with Helena Partnerships and Arts Council England, North West, is holding a consultation and awareness session aimed at local community groups, artists and individuals interested in the arts.
St Helens is one of the areas eligible to apply for the Creative People and Places funding from the Arts Council, of between £500,000 and £3 million over three years.
At the session the council wants to bring interested organisations and creative individuals together.
To book a place contact Kim Whitfield at St Helens Council on 01744 675492 or e-mail kimberleywhitfield@sthelens.gov.
