RAFA holds Battle of Britain parade

ST HELENS branch of the Royal Air Forces Association is holding its annual Battle of the Britain Parade and Service on Sunday, September 9.
The Service of Remembrance and Rededication will be held at Parish Church in St Helens at 3pm.
The parade will form up in Church Street at 2.30pm with other ex-service organisations, who will be paying their respects.
An invitation is being sent to all ex-service personnel as well as members of the public to join the St Helens RAFA on the day of remembrance.
Mayor of St Helens, Cllr Geoff Almond and Mayoress, Jean Almond, will be attending the event along with officers of St Helens Council.
