Even toddlers embraced the London 2012 spirit

Parents and tots go on the run at Little Treasures Nursery.
THE spirit of London 2012 has been inspiring both the young and the old, including tots who took part in their own sports day.
Little Treasures Nursery, in Whiston, staged the event, which attracted children and their families.
There were races for each age group, starting with the baby race for one to two-year-olds, then the two to threes, followed by the pre-schoolers.
There was also a race for the holiday club, in which children between five and 11 entered. Finally, it was the parents’ turn to play their part.
