MOTORISTS are being warned to expect delays when maintenence work begins on the overhead railway bridge on the East Lancs Road.
Work on the Network Rail bridge near the Waterside pub at Carr Mill has been rescheduled to run from Sunday, September 17 to Friday, October 26.
Both carriageways will be closed overnight between the junctions of Carr Mill Road and Liverpool Road/Stanley Bank Way from Monday, September 17 to Saturday September 22(9pm to 6am) and Sunday, October 21 to Thursday, October 25 (9pm to 6am).
During the full six weeks narrow lanes will be in place involving reduced speed limits.
